EPC Merge for ProM

The EPC Merge Plugin of ProM merges two EPCs into one new EPC that still allows for the same behavior as each of the two input EPCs on its own. To use the plugin make first sure that you have first opened the two EPCs in ProM and they are displayed in a screen. After that go to Analysis -> More analysis in the menu of ProM or press the button with the magnifier.

From the list displayed on the left select the "EPC Merge" plugin. On the right of the screen you should afterwards select one of the two EPCs you have opened as EPC 1 and the other one as EPC 2. Afterwards press the next button.

Now the functions of the two EPCs need to be matched. The functions of the first EPC are fixed. You can assign corresponding functions from the second EPC or "none" if no such function exists. If you want to rename functions that are not named in the same way among the models you can do so in the third column. Afterwards continue to map the events.

Match the events in the same way as the funtions and start the merge.

The result is an integrated EPC which depicts the behavior of both input EPCs.
